New Hairdo

Really, what is a parent to do with a child's hair? It is difficult to comb it, let alone cut it to make it look presentable. Jonathan was getting shaggy and it was cute for a while, but it is so straight it looks poky and crazy, especially after a nap. So I decided to have a pro take a look at it when Jonathan was with my mom getting her hair done. He didn't know her, wouldn't sit still and it just didn't look that good.
Because his hair is so straight and fine, it makes it even more difficult because when it is cut, the ends are so blunt and there is no way for it to blend in. Which means a mistake is easily noticed! (I may or may not be speaking from experience in regards to my own very straight hair.)
Nathan always cuts his hair by himself, so I thought I could cut Jonathan's hair. I gave him some food and let him see the clippers and comb first. I even turned the clippers on, in his hand so he could feel the vibration. I must say it worked out pretty well. Clippers were the way to go because the guard makes it all the same length. Here are the results:

I just put those last two in because he is cute, not because it really shows the hair cut!
