Jonathan and his Great Grandma Ashley. She passed away on September 25 at 96.
This is the last time we saw her in late August. We spent a weekend in WNY for the funeral.
We got to spend some time with the Johnson's. Here is Cole.

He's (Almost) Two, Part 4!

Yesterday Jonathan and I made an angel food cake for my friend's birthday. Unfortunately, Jonathan wasn't going to be around when the cake was eaten and he couldn't understand why he couldn't have some when we finished baking it.
When I got home last night, Nathan started picking at the leftovers. It was already past Jonathan's bedtime and so he only got a little taste. I promised him he could have some today.
Here he is getting it without permission because he couldn't wait for Mommy.
Notice he pulled the drawer out so that he could reach it!
Guilty!
(Don't you love the big boy underwear from Grandma?)
The Tupperware container the cake is in was Nathan's grandmother's.
Tupperware lasts forever!!

He's (Almost) Two, But Has a Sweet Heart!

Today Jonathan woke up from his nap and asked if he could lay in mommy's bed. The two of us laid down and he put his hand on mine. I asked if he wanted to hold my hand. He said, "yes," and grabbed the other one, too. Then he said, "Jesus. Hayden, Mr. Chris, Ms. Ava. AMEN!"
Oh, love him and pray this tenderness in his heart will continue.
