Five Months Old and Giving Daddy's Looks

we tried to get some dimple smiles to share for the 5 month anniversary, but instead we got this look. have you seen it anywhere else before?

so, here is what our baby is up to...he smiles all the time, he is rolling over and sleeping on his belly, he scoots around on his belly with tons of effort, but doesn't get very far (nathan says this is doing the "worm" in place, he grunts (like his grandpa and uncle ryan), he sticks his little butt in the air when he sleeps, he follows us with his eyes when we move around the room, he has started to recognize winston, he lifts his head up to look all around when he is on his belly, he chews on everything he can, but he prefers to chew on cloth the most, when he starts laughing he will just go on and on, he can laugh and cry simultaneously, he loves music and dancing, his favorite song is mockingbird (hush little baby), he also likes "this the way the ____ rides" (thanks c.c.), he has rolls and rolls and rolls all over his body, he loves to pull his socks off and attempts to get his toes in his mouth (his belly gets in the way), he arches his back to avoid the carseat, he kicks his legs non-stop (i knew when i was pregnant that the baby would be a soccer player), he loves to eat and recently has been sampling new foods (he has loved white chocolate and tomato sauce the most), but mostly he loves his mommy and daddy. we are thrilled to have him and couldn't imagine our life without our little jonathan patrick!
