Auntie's Obstacle Course

Auntie came over to play with us last week. She decided to build an obstacle course for Jonathan! So much fun! Here are some pics:

He's Two, Part 8!

Jonathan combed his hair by himself.
Here are the results:

What is most amazing though, is that there were no tears shed nor even a peep out of him. It had to have hurt pretty badly, but Jonathan is tough as nails when he wants to be.

My Sweet Little Boy

I have been very sick since Wednesday evening. Thankfully, my fever has finally broken and I am participating in family life again!
I was laying on the couch and Jonathan was eating a snack of yogurt covered raisins. He left and went into the kitchen with Nathan and said, "Daddy, do these have peanuts in them?" Nathan told him that they did not (Jonathan has a peanut allergy, so he has heard us say many times that he cannot have something because it has nuts in it and it could make him sick.).
He came back into the living room with me and said, "Mommy, do you want a raisin? You can have it because it won't make you sick."
Lord, please continue to build this sweetness, compassion and caring-ness in his character. Thank you for our sweet little boy.
